Join the Team
We are a company in the process of being founded in the field of digital public administration (GovTech), and we are looking for motivated individuals to join us in building a modern product for public administrations.
Remote-First: All positions at ProDiFair are initially remote-first. You work flexibly from anywhere. Further details on collaboration will be discussed with you personally.
Note on Compensation: As we are currently still in the founding phase, participation is initially without fixed remuneration. The goal is to jointly build a viable product and company. We plan to further develop the project through funding programmes. Once appropriate funding is secured, collaboration is intended to transition into a compensated activity.
Software Development (m/f/d)
You build the technical foundation of our two products, from the interface to the user-facing screen, with a modern web stack and tests from day one.
UX Design (m/f/d)
You shape the user experience of our two products: clear, accessible, and made for administrative day-to-day work.
Public Administration Specialist (m/f/d)
You bring your expertise from the public sector and help us tailor our solution precisely to everyday administrative needs.
Sales & Business Development (m/f/d)
You actively present our solution to municipalities, build pilot projects, and develop strategic partnerships.
Quality Assurance / QA (m/f/d)
You thoroughly test our two products, catch bugs before users do, and document them clearly. No programming experience required.
Software Development
We are a company in its founding phase in the field of digital public administration (GovTech) and are looking for someone to co-develop and advance the technical foundation of our solution.
Note on Compensation: As we are currently still in the pre-founding phase, involvement is initially without fixed remuneration. The goal is to build a viable product and company together. We plan to develop the project through funding programmes and aim to transition the collaboration into a paid role once appropriate funding is secured.
Your Focus
- Building features for the citizen app (React, TypeScript) and the administration portal, from draft to finished screen
- Building the processing in the background (Python, FastAPI): structuring form submissions and preparing them for caseworkers
- Working test-first: an automated test for every new code path (Vitest, pytest, Playwright)
- Considering accessibility and data protection from the start (WCAG 2.1 AA, BITV, GDPR)
- Giving and receiving code reviews, clean pull requests and clear commits
- Contributing to technical architecture decisions and documenting them
Your Profile
- Degree or training in computer science, software engineering, business informatics, or equivalent, or comparable practical experience
- Confident with a modern web stack: JavaScript/TypeScript and React on the frontend, Python on the backend
- Tests, clean code quality and documentation are part of the work for you, not an afterthought
- Care, independent working and enjoyment of an early-stage startup environment
- Interest in GovTech and digital public administration
- Interest in long-term collaboration
Advantageous, and can also be acquired through further training:
- Experience with FastAPI, Node.js or test-driven development (TDD)
- Basic knowledge of accessibility (WCAG/BITV) or IT security (OWASP, BSI baseline protection)
- Experience with AI-supported development
What to Expect
- A modern, AI-supported way of working: you develop with current tools and AI support
- Technical creative freedom and responsibility from day one
- Direct collaboration with the founding team and short decision paths
- Work on a product that relieves caseworkers and helps citizens
- Flexible, remote-friendly work
- Prospectively a paid collaboration after successful grant acquisition
Apply
If you don't meet every requirement perfectly, we still welcome your message. Especially in the founding phase, motivation and interest in the topic are often just as important as a perfect profile. If you have any questions, you can reach us at the email address below.
